The Twilight series.
Okay, in all honesty, I don't think
any form of literature should
ever be banned. The exception to this is pornographic material, in terms of keeping it away from places it shouldn't be. Obviously, no one wants to see sexually graphic books in schools or in the grocery store (
normal people, at least). Otherwise, let people read what they want to read: anytime, anywhere. Every individual has the right to indulge in whatever they please so long as it does not jeopardize the wellbeing of another person. Books are tools for learning and being informed, are sources of entertainment, are outlets for creativity and imagination, are a means for emotional expression, and so much more. They are a hugely important part of life -- not necessarily for every person, but for the world as a whole. Allowing one book and denying another is wholly unacceptable. Where would we be without books?
...Well,
Fahrenheit 451. And that would not be pleasant.
